Here is an ANTIQUE WOOD CIGAR HUMIDOR.   It is carved wood in the Black Forest Style. This is a Victorian piece dating to c.1880.   You lift up the house by holding on to the edges of the roof.  Drop cigars into the hole at top of roof on either side.  Close the roof.  When you lift up the roof again a cigar is automatically placed on the grooved holder.  SEE PHOTOS.  There is an oval frame on the front of the house that can be used to hold a picture.  There is a small piece of wood at the top of the circle that is missing.  You could also remove the frame if you chose to do so.  There is an ink 1.50 at the bottom. Done a long time ago.
